Here are a few things that happened this week:

  1. Lala arrived from Melbourne.
  2. We celebrated my cousin’s 18th birthday and I got to play with my nephews and neices.
  3. On the same night, Migz went home with us. He’s staying with us until after Christmas. *dances*
  4. After the office blessing and Christmas party last Friday (which I refuse to talk about because it only upsets me), I went to Makati to meet my friends.
  5. Lala got bangs!! And Charmie has braces!! And Yoe had a date!!!
  6. Domeng really loved my gift.
  7. Madz gave me Audrey Hepburn stuff (a calendar and postcards)!
  8. Lai gave me a red pouch and now I know where to put my make up brushes.
  9. I went with Lai and Nath to Lai’s place and slept over. She has the sweetest family ever! And her house is so pretty.
  10. Wow! I fit into her clothes, though they were a little more snug on me than on her. And she gave me a pair of slippers that were never worn because they’re much too small for her. :D
  11. Woke up early on Saturday because I was in a different house and was also too excited for #12…
  12. Would you look at that, I GOT A TATTOO!:

I’ve wanted to get one since I was still in high school, but I was sure that my parents wouldn’t let me. And I didn’t have any money then. But now I do and I’m old enough…so Madz (click if you want to see her tat) and I got ‘devirginized’ together. She had one on the back of her neck of the French word for truth ‘Vérité’. Mine has a three-fold explanation, but I’ll just give the first one here:

“Prophet!” said I, “thing of evil – prophet still, if bird or devil!
By that Heaven that bends above us – by that God we both adore -
Tell this soul with sorrow laden if, within the distant Aidenn,
It shall clasp a sainted maiden whom the angels name Lenore -
Clasp a rare and radiant maiden whom the angels name Lenore.”
Quoth the Raven, “Nevermore.”

The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe

I absolutely love that poem. It’s my second favorite by EA Poe (first one is Alone).

I’m really happy with how mine turned out. The artist was really good. He had to draw it freehand with a pen on my ankle and I really didn’t think it would turn out so great.

Lai took some videos of it. If you wanna’ watch it, just click.
