Last Wednesday, I finally got to watch the Twilight movie with my friends. I watched it again the following day with my sister and her friends, who all saw it the night before too.

WARNING: This will be a long post. I tend to babble a lot.

Here are the things I didn’t like about it:

— The special effects were horrendous! The sparkle effect on Rob looked like sweat (and as Leia pointed out, came with wind chimes!). The supposedly super fast vampires looked comedic whenever they ran or moved too fast.

— Rob as Emodward could use some acting lessons. I get what he was trying to do, he wanted Edward to be this tortured, angsty vampire and I liked that he didn’t want to just portray him as this super beautiful vampire. But really, he was so much better when he was happy Edward. That scene where everyone was looking at him and Bella?! Awesome! (And I’m not just saying that because he looked the hottest then.)

— Kristen as Bella has always been the best choice in my opinion. She LOOKS like the Bella in my head (albeit a little too pretty sometimes). But she twitched a little too much. There were times when I truly believed that she forgot her lines and they just kept rolling. (Give the girl a break, feed her her lines.) But I’ve seen her in numerous interviews and she really does twitch a lot whenever she’s uncomfortable or nervous. Poor girl.

I’m writing this blog from my sister’s computer because mine is acting weird. It won’t connect to the internet, apparently the wifi has decided to just zonk out. It’s weird using her computer for a number of reasons:

1. Her keyboard is chunky. I’m not used to this kind of keyboard anymore, I guess.
2. Her mouse doesn’t have a scroller thingamajig. I keep running my middle finger on it, expecting to use the scroller, but it’s not there.
3. Her YM doesn’t have most of the smileys I love using.

And if she happens to read this blog, she’ll say something like “THEN DON’T USE MY COMPUTER, BITCH!” LOL I’m just saying that I feel weird on this computer. I’m not complaining. I like weird. It’s…different.

Anyway, I mostly decided to write today because I just read Madz‘ blog and I really felt bad for her. She’s in London and she’s not enjoying her stay. She keeps counting down the days until she comes home. She misses everyone and apparently, the weather is killer. If I could trade places with her, I would (not just because I’ve always wanted to move to London). Madz, if you’re reading this, know that we’re miserable without you too. We miss your corny jokes and every time I say something corny I always say that I’m channeling you. Just think of that last day and take things one day at a time. Before long, the 8 weeks would’ve gone and you’re on your way back to us. And we’ll finally get our tattoos. And we’ll eat and drink and be merry…because it’ll be Merry Christmas time by then. Hahaha! See, I’m channeling you right now!

What’s your exact day of arrival? I’ll count the days down with you. 🙂

  1. I’ve learned that you cannot make someone love you. All you can do is stalk them and hope they panic and give in.
  2. I’ve learned that no matter how much I care, some people are just assholes.
  3. I’ve learned that it takes years to build up trust, and it only takes suspicion, not proof, to destroy it.
  4. I’ve learned that you can get by on charm for about fifteen minutes. After that, you’d better have a big willy or huge boobs.
  5. I’ve learned that you shouldn’t compare yourself to others — they are more screwed up than you think.
  6. I’ve learned that you can keep vomiting long after you think you’re finished.
  7. I’ve learned that we are responsible for what we do, unless we are celebrities.
  8. I’ve learned that regardless of how hot and steamy a relationship is at first, the passion fades, and there had better be a lot of money to take its place!
  9. I’ve learned that 99% of the time when something isn’t working in your house, one of your kids did it.
  10. I’ve learned that the people you care most about in life are taken from you too soon and all the less important ones just never go away.

My mom forwarded me this email and it made me laugh because I actually thought of certain people for certain lines. Share it with your friends too, spread the laughs. 😀

I’m thinking of maybe revamping this blog a bit. Maybe a new header, a new icon. I don’t know. I’m just really bored lately, even my blog’s look is boring me. Minka Kelly is still gorgeous though, so we’ll see.

Lai loves me too much. Seriously. That, or she’s bored out of her wits because she’s home alone today. Either way…she awarded me with this:

The Best Speller Award

Haha! Gotta’ love that girl!

In a move that’s so uncharacteristically me, Nikki and I went to 10 Story Fall’s gig last night. (10 Story Fall is our good friend Altair’s band.) We were initially going to miss it because a) it was in Katipunan, b) it was a work night and c) none of the other girls were free and Nikki didn’t want to go home alone since she lives in Las Piñas. But because Altair apparently missed us too much (I don’t really know, I’m just making this up), he offered to drive us both home.

I’m actually glad that we decided to go because it was something different. I think every now and then, I need something totally different to jolt me back to life. It felt like I’ve been sleep-walking these past few weeks and it was a nice change. We met new people, laughed about our college stories, and goofed around during our ‘roadtrip’ to and from Nikki’s house, which we jokingly said is right next to Calatagan.

So now I vow to do something different every now and then just to make sure that I wake up from my sleep-like state. Just to keep things interesting.

I’m having an awful workday today. Here are a few videos that actually made me laugh.

I wonder what he’s on. Hahaha! I remember my nephew Migzy used to laugh every time the piece of tissue paper he’s holding got blown by the fan. The things kids laugh at.

Jack…I am your mother. LMFAO

Ahahahaha EVIL BABY!!

Last one:

Poor kid, but it makes me laugh.

No, that is not a typo. Look at my shoe:

Isn’t it the cutest little thing?

Don’t you just think it’s adorable?

But wait…something about it looks wrong next to its sister.

Oh, yeah! There it is! That’s what’s wrong!

Sasha is not amused.

Not one bit. Note pissed off face.

So, a little history. After work today, I went home and watched American Idol. After that, I went to Rockwell with my mom and my sister to buy gifts for my goddaughter Zy, who is celebrating her birthday this Saturday. We were pretty hungry after that so we had dinner at Coffee Bean before watching Over Her Dead Body. While we were eating, I happened to look down and noticed something weird about my left shoe. It looked like another shoe was attached to it. But I could feel my other shoe on my right foot, so it couldn’t have been that. Then I looked closer and realized my

Wow! Really!? I thought stuff like that only happened in Mentos commercials. I never really realized how important soles are until tonight. My left foot hurts so much! Plus, it didn’t help my already terrible scoliosis one bit.:( By that time, all the stores were closed, so I couldn’t buy a new pair of shoes…not even slippers! Grrr!

PS: Yes, I so need a pedicure.

Is in her mid-20s. Is a girl. Loves to write. Loves taking pictures. Vents a lot. Finds her days too boring. Finds herself too sheltered. Wants to meet a faerie, for real. Swears a lot. Knows that's bad. Just might have too dirty a mind.
