We bought a townhouse just near where we live right now and according to my parents, we’re moving next week. I’ll tell you this for free…I am NOT looking forward to that. I mean, sure. I want to get out of this place soon. It’s old and has mice and roaches and mites. It’s also cramped. And I’m looking forward to sharing a room with just my sister, as opposed to our set up now where all 3 of us (my brother, sister and myself) share one tiny room. Also looking forward to our own bathroom (separate from my dad). And a lot of things.

What I’m not so enthused about is the actual process of moving. It’s so tiring. I sound like a brat, but it really is. My whole life, I’ve only ever moved once before. And that was to a unit 10 steps away from our old unit in one same apartment. And it practically knocked me out! I remember saying that I will never move again. I will live there forever. When I have my own family, I will make them live in that same apartment unit. But really, now I’m thankful that we are moving. A bit anxious, and not looking forward to the labor…but still thankful.

Anyway, tonight after work I went with my mom and brother to check the house. It’s a townhouse that we had tweaked and customized a little bit. Here are some pictures of the messy but promising place. 🙂

1st floor

Room I'll share with my sister. Yay for bookshelves!

Still part of our room. Love that vanity mirror.

I took out my camera last night because I wanted to play around with it when I discovered that the battery was drained. My brother apparently forgot to charge it after he borrowed it. For some reason, I was feeling productive and didn’t want to just sit around all night. That’s when I remembered that I took home some of my sticky tack from the office and that I recently found my college basic photography portfolio. So while charging my battery, I decided to put up some pictures next to my bed. Then of course I took some pictures.

All the pictures where taken by me. Artworks are by Domeng (b&w) and Gino.

Don’t have pictures of Madz, Charm and Leia. 😦 Will take care of that soon.

After that, I decided I wanted to give you a little peek of my home.

Books/Notebooks: Love Letters of Great Men, The Notebook (my brother’s Christmas gift), The Te of Piglet (Domeng’s copy, actually), Taking Pictures (short stories by Anne Enright), Pride and Prejudice of course, Enchantment (Audrey Hepburn’s life), notebook from Lala back in 2007, Starbucks planner and another notebook.
2 Tablecloth bears are from and by Domeng (cos she’s not human), my phone, my iPod, a headband, socks, and the eye cover thingy Eian gave me…and also some trash. 🙂

I don’t know why I took black and whites of these:

My Pride and Prejudice DVD Collections (BBC Series with Colin Firth and the 2005 version with Keira Knightley, of course), Audrey Hepburn DVDs and the Stargirl books. Below that are the Twilight books.

One Tree Hill DVDs, Edgar Allan Poe collection, the only manga I own (which was my sister’s Christmas gift for me this year) Gakuen Alice (and I’m officially announcing to the world what a dork I am), The Time Traveler’s Wife, Mr. Darcy: A Gentleman Trilogy, The Looking Glass Wars (a new book I haven’t read) and the Coraline graphic novel.

And just cos we spent all of last Wednesday organizing our bookshelves downstairs:

And the last photo I took last night was this (and it nearly broke my neck).

No, that is not a typo. Look at my shoe:

Isn’t it the cutest little thing?

Don’t you just think it’s adorable?

But wait…something about it looks wrong next to its sister.

Oh, yeah! There it is! That’s what’s wrong!

Sasha is not amused.

Not one bit. Note pissed off face.

So, a little history. After work today, I went home and watched American Idol. After that, I went to Rockwell with my mom and my sister to buy gifts for my goddaughter Zy, who is celebrating her birthday this Saturday. We were pretty hungry after that so we had dinner at Coffee Bean before watching Over Her Dead Body. While we were eating, I happened to look down and noticed something weird about my left shoe. It looked like another shoe was attached to it. But I could feel my other shoe on my right foot, so it couldn’t have been that. Then I looked closer and realized my

Wow! Really!? I thought stuff like that only happened in Mentos commercials. I never really realized how important soles are until tonight. My left foot hurts so much! Plus, it didn’t help my already terrible scoliosis one bit.:( By that time, all the stores were closed, so I couldn’t buy a new pair of shoes…not even slippers! Grrr!

PS: Yes, I so need a pedicure.
